Once you start keeping this journal you will probably see just why you are not losing weight and why you may be gaining weight. This could be discouraging at first but once you find the problem you will be able to fix it. Knowing where you need to make improvement means that you are going to be able to see the results that you want.

Besides for counting your calories you should also look at the amount of carbohydrates that you are taking in. You should not be taking in large amounts of carbohydrates. What you should be doing is making sure that you take in plenty of protein through lean meats as well as eating your vegetables and your fruit.
